Another year, another goal

Have you ever told yourself, “I’m going to change, I’m going to do better?” Ya, I’ve been there…only a million times!
I’m going to be a better person.
I’ll only use my words to lift others up, not tear them down. (Publicly or privately)
I’m going to do the dishes immediately after eating.
I’m going to keep the house clean & organized.
I’m going to keep up on my taxes throughout the year.
I’m not going to yell or lose my cool.
I’m going to go to church more & read my bible every day.
I’m not going to procrastinate on my responsibilities.
I’m going to slow down & cherish my family.
I’ll do better in my finances.

I could seriously go on & on. It seems like every year, right around this time, I re-evaluate myself thoroughly. I go through theses cycles on a small scale throughout the year, but it hits hard at the end. I look back at the year, how quickly it passed and how I failed to change. Ever feel this way? How many “New Years Resolutions” have you actually followed through with? If you are successful in changing yourself & the follow through, please comment and tell me how to do it!

A lot has happened in my life this year, I’ve learned some valuable lessons. I HAVE to change; for myself, my SON, my husband and just for everyone around me.

I’ve set some big goals in my life and I’ve accomplished some pretty cool things because of those goals. One thing I’ve learned about goal setting is that you MUST write it down and commit. Read the plan and then work the plan.

So here’s to another year making the plan and trying my best to stick to it.
