best buds
⚾️ These boys are best buds. They play basketball together every year, but have never been fortunate enough to be on the same baseball team yet.⠀
⠀
💙 I’m proud of them. They are such good young men, kind hearted, loving, determined, competitive…but good sports. ⠀
⠀
👍 One goal they both had for the game that night, was to be able to pitch to each other and hit off each other. They both got their wish. It couldn’t have been more perfect. ⠀
⠀
🤝 Matthew’s team won the first game, and they tied with them the second game. It was a great night & two great games. ⠀
⠀
💕 I love these boys and pray their friendship grows and they both grow in the Lord. ⠀
comparison
One flower withering, one beautifully blooming. ⠀
⠀
I see this same image all the time in women. I see women who compare themselves to those who are beautifully blooming, thinking they don’t measure up. ⠀
⠀
Comparison kills. It’s sucks the life right out of you. Women look at other successful woman thriving, and they think, “well, they are already doing so well at that, so I can’t.” ⠀
⠀
It’s a scarcity mindset that comes from comparison that stops people from going after their dreams or doing what they feel called to do. Either they think there are too many people already doing it or they think others are doing it better….all kinds of thoughts of comparison and honestly, it’s all life sucking lies that we let ourselves believe.⠀
⠀
🛑 Ladies, STOP letting yourselves fall victim to comparison, stop believing the lies, stop letting what someone else is doing dictate what you can and cannot do! ⠀
⠀
🌸 Bloom, fully and beautifully into who you were meant to be, do what you feel called to do and don’t let anyone change that! We can all bloom, when you see others blooming around you, that doesn’t mean you will wither. Surround yourself with people who are full of life and who lift you up. ⠀
