🎂 Today is Matthew’s 14th Birthday and it’s unbelievable how fast time has flown. He had a great day and got a lot of great gifts, his favorite of what he’s got so far is his @timwells_slockmaster blow dart gun (like father, like son).
đź›» The main thing he wanted to do for his birthday was to drive. So we took him to the Kansas license office and he took his permit test and passed, only missed two questions. Also, fun fact, my mom lived in Kansas for a year when she was 14 and she also got her permit in Kansas at 14. So cool little family repeat.Â
🤔 So you may be wondering…did you move to Kansas? Well, kind of, but not really. We have an apartment in Olathe, Kansas for Christian’s work. It’s too far of a drive at times and it’s helpful for him to be close to work, so between that and our camper at the lake, I guess we are both Missouri and Kansas citizens. 🤷‍♀️
💕 Anyway, I’m seriously SO proud of the young man Matthew is becoming and we are SO blessed that we got to celebrate him today in a big way.
