if it’s not true, i don’t BELIEVE it

The other day someone wrote a review of our church, a visitor who attended briefly years ago. Their review said that our church doesn’t recognize any belief that we don’t perceive as true. That’s right, we don’t. There is only one truth and truth isn’t perceived, it’s just true. It’s written plainly and that’s the only belief we teach, why would we be open to beliefs that aren’t true? 🤷‍♀️

what goes up, must come down

A week ago I did a thing I’ve been preparing myself for since 2019. I climbed a mountain. Well….kinda. Anyway I did it, and as I climbed I didn’t just conquer physical steps, but I hurdled the only real fear I have….heights. 😬 Something I learned, the way down was more physically strenuous than the way up. 🤷‍♀️

dwell

Our dwelling place isn’t in a house or in any specific town, but our dwelling place is in the Lord. Regardless of where we go or what we do, we live our lives in Him, eternally. In Him is joy and beauty and perfect peace; purpose and love and everything we need. I will always live a life of gratitude for what He has given me.

“Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”
