When one door closes another one opens. The possibilities are endless for a child of the most high God. I mean look at this creation, look at the beauty. The Heavens and the Earth declare the glory of the Lord.
I just had to share, such a beautiful picture of my husband in his boat. God is so good and so gracious and has blessed us endlessly. I can’t wait to see what He has in store for us next. 🙌
Sometimes the steps we take are crooked, it can’t always be a perfect path. The important thing is that you take the steps. Do what you know to do and keep going, keep pushing, keep believing bigger. Life doesn’t roll out the red carpet for you, so if that’s what you’re waiting for, you’ll never get anywhere.
It’s like James 2:26 says, faith without works is dead. If you don’t take action, believing for anything is useless. You have to step out of the boat to walk on the water. And when you do, when you finally believe God and go with Him, every step you take will be blessed.
So…my son has been wearing this shirt and I was teasing him the other day that he can’t wear it unless he can actually smoke meat. He was confident that he could on his own, I totally doubted him. 🥩
So I bet him that he couldn’t do it from start to finish on his own. Well…I was wrong. Turns out not only can the 14-year-old smoke meat, he can do it well. 🤦♀️
I gave him a rump roast because I was certain he would mess it up and I didn’t want to use a good piece of meat. He took a rump roast and smoked it like a brisket. It had bark, it was tender, it had AMAZING flavor and he did it all on his own! 😲
He seasoned it, started the smoker, checked the temp, researched what temp he should cook it at (YouTube) and totally did it. I’m blown away. He’s always helped me in the kitchen and I’ve always taught him how to cook various things, but I didn’t expect him to have picked up the smoking skills. 🤤 🔥 👏
