Well people always told me to expect broken bones with a boy, especially one as active as mine. I REFUSED to expect that because I believe the Bible when it says our words have the power of life and death, so I never spoke those words over our son.

However, here we are with the first & ONLY cast I ever expect him to have. He fractured his knuckle just a little. He was carrying a pallet to set a trap for critters because he was concerned they were getting into his chickens and he tripped and his hand got stuck in the pallet. 😬

Just as we are starting basketball season….🤦‍♀️

But it’s not what you think…we are still in the camper. We are trying our hand at a little investment project.

Matthew has shown an interest in real estate and potentially house flipping, so we thought we’d give it a whirl and see if this is something he really see’s in his future.

Some friends invited us to take a trip to Arkansas with them, as busy as life is right now we accepted the invite…this may be the only rest we get before we head into the busiest season of the year!

We laughed, relaxed, got outdoors in our element and took in all of God’s creation. We stayed at an airbnb in a secluded spot on the river and brought all of our canoes and kayak’s down so we could float the river a little.

While on the river one day, the guys found a bear cave and Christian says he saw bear poop and he knows there is a bear in there! We also ate a snapping turtle that Matthew killed and fried up…that was an adventure for us all. 😂

Then Matthew chased down a squire, caught it and then released it. 🤣
